Ann L. Walls, 75, of West Main Street, Burgin, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born July 5, 1925, in Burgin, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Rose Fowler Keeling. She was the widow of Harlan Walls.

She was a former Mercer Dress employee, a retired Whirlpool employee, a member of Burgin Baptist Church, and a member of the Active 70 and Older Sunday School class.

Survivors include a son, Harlan Wayne (Dixie) Walls of Burgin; a daughter, Peggy Ann (Billy Ray) Lucas of Burgin; three brothers, James C. Keeling and Curtis (Anna Ruth) Keeling, both of Burgin, and Billy Eugene Keeling of Lancaster; a sister, Juanita (Robert) Moss of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Burchell Keeling.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 9, at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Brother James Harley officiating. Burial was in Burgin Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Jason and Daniel Lucas, Andrew Curtsinger, Stuart Woods, Keith Moss, and Jeremy Thacker.
