Died, at the home of his mother in this city, on Saturday, Feb. 9, Mr. Henry Lenahan; aged 42 years. The deceased was born and grew to manhood in Mineral Point. About twelve years ago he went to Dakota and located near Aberdeen. He was of a quiet, gentle disposition and a man of ability and worth. He took up a farm in Dakota. He possessed a good education and taught school during the winter months. Being afflicted with diabetes he returned to the home of his mother in this city a short time ago. But gentle care and medical attendance failed to give him relief, and he passed away, as stated above, on Saturday last.
The funeral was held on Tuesday morning, with services at St. Paul's Catholic Church, and a touching sermon by Father O'Keefe. No young man stood higher in th eestimation of the people here than Harry Lenahan, as he was familiarly called. A wide circle of friends extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved mother, brothers and sisters in their great loss.
