Services for Howard Lee Majure, 74, were to be held, Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Nowell Funeral Home. the Rev. Mark Dooley and the Rev. Claude Phillips were to officiate. Burial was to be in Pine Grove Pentecostal Cemetery under the direction of Nowell Funeral Services.
Mr. Majure died Monday, Feb. 25 at Riley Memorial Hospital in Meridian.
He was born in Neshoba County and was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.
He was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Ona Grace Majure of Union; two sisters, Ruth Evans of Union and Ruby Reardon of Philadelphia; three brothers, Earl Majure of Union, Will Majure of Philadelphia and Robert O. Majure of Quitman; tow grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Charles Phillips, Danny Watkins, Felton Trapp, Aaron Goss, Harlon Byran Jr., and Jerry Tatum.
