Services are 1 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with burial in Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Neshoba County. Rev. Hugh Smith and Rev. Len McRaney officiating.
She was a native of Neshoba County where she made her home until moving to Madison six years ago. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Neshoba County. Mrs. Evans was a member of Lake Lorman Bible Study Group and Joy Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren James Evans.
Her survivors include daughter, Margaret Evans Wilkerson and her husband, Jim of Madison; 3 grandchildren, Jimmy Wilkerson, Angela Wilkerson and Wendy Bounds; 3 great-grandchildren, Evans Wilkerson, Ella Hall Bounds and Wilkes Bounds.
