Mr. Majure died Thursday in Olin Teague V.A. Center in Temple, Texas. He was a native of Union. He has lived in Houston, Texas most all of his life and had been a resident of Temple, Texas for the past 10 years.
He was a retired retail sales clerk, and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Evans of Union and Mrs. Ruby Reardon of Brandon; four brothers, Earl Majure of Union, Wallace Majure of Philadelphia, Howard Majure of Union, and Bob Majure of Quitman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Stan Majure, Steve Majure, Wendell Majure, Benny Noel, Keith Majure, Willie Jackson and Jim Wilkerson.
