Florence, March 5 - Funeral services for C. J. Timmons, popular Atlantic Coast Line railway conductor, whose death occurred yesterday after an illness of over a year, were conducted at the Central Methodist Church here, this afternoon by the Rev. E. L. McCoy.
There were a large attendance of friends at the funeral and the floral offerings were especially beautiful and numerous.
Mr. Timmons leaves a widow, a father and mother and several brothers. He was well known in Florence, having lived here for several years.
