Graveside services will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd. for Sylvia Meadows.
Sylvia was born August 28, 1908 in Grass Valley, Oregon to John and Elizabeth Dunlap. She passed away December 6, 2009, in Los Angeles, CA. She was a former resident of Bakersfield, moving to Los Angeles in 1985. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Meadows and her granddaughter Dorie.
She is survived by her daughter Betty Woehl of San Francisco, her son Doran Meadows of Clarkdale, Arizona, and her daughter Donna Dryden of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, Gay, Lynn, Venda and Sylvia; four great grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Kevin and Krystal; and her nephew Edwin Peters.
Sylvia will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family. The family would like to thank Joyce Williams for her loving home care.
