She married Gideon C. Taylor in about 1876.
In 1880 they were farming near Denton, Tx. They moved to Navarro Co.,Texas and by 1893 had 7 children. In 1894 Gideon was killed in the line of duty, and she was left with raising 7 children. In 1910 she and 6 of the children were living next door to her oldest child who was recently married. She died June 1, 1929 and is buried in Dresden Cemetery.
Her family nickname and the one she used on the 1880, 1900, and 1910 Census is Pattie.
