Fifth child of eight born to Gideon Christian Taylor and Martha J. "Pattie" Haden. His death certificate no 22356 gives his birthplace as "Taylor Grove". The Taylors farmed near Dresden, Texas. He married Margaret Elizabeth (Aunt Lizzie)Kennemur. They were living in Beaumont when he filled out his WWI draft regn. card. He was working for Mobile Oil company. By 1935 they were in Dallas,Tx. They lived there until his death in 1955.
