She was known as and called Corene her intire life. Corene was married twice and gave birth to eight children. Corene married 1st 19 Dec 1930 in Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado to Roy Rockford OGDEN son of David William "Dave" and Ella May (Keeth) OGDEN, she had two children with him. Corene divorced Roy Ogden. Corene married 2nd 11 Oct 1942 in Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado to Robert RYAN a.k.a. Jesse Junior PETERSON son of Jesse Soren and Mary Ann "Minnie" (Fuell) PETERSON.

THOMAS-RYAN WEDDING SUNDAY MORNING EVENT
Miss Corene Thomas, Route 2, and Robert Ryan of this city were married at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of Mrs. Ida Carey, 225 North First street. The Reverend Shindledcker officiating. Mrs. Carey and Harvard Blackburn attended the bride and groom. Others present at the rites were Mrs. Ethel Strickland, Mrs. Shindledcker and John Ray.
The bride wore a dress of royal blue velvet. She had a corsage of white gardenias and also wore a gardenia in her hair. Mrs. Carey was dressed in black and cream and wore a corsage of tea roses.
The ceremony was followed by a wedding dinner, the menu for which featured a wedding cake baked by the bride's sister, Mrs. Archie Bliss.
Mrs. Ryan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Thomas of Route 2. She has been employed recently at the Pig Parlor.

MARY RYAN
Mary Corene Ryan, 83, of Howell, died March 27 at McPherson Hospital, Howell.
She was born July 1, 1915, in Grand Junction, Colo., the daughter of Daniel and Emma (McAdams) Thomas. She married Robert Ryan in Grand Junction on Oct. 11, 1942. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1966.
She moved to this community 20 years ago. Mrs. Ryan was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Howell. She is preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, NeVelda Frazier of Springfield, Ore., Dianne Richards of Howell and Nyla Richardson of Howell; three sons Dan Ogden of Rogers, Ariz., Robert Ryan of Howell and Sean Ryan of Buena Park, Calif.; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by one son Michael, in June 1990; and a daughter Michele in September 1957.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Jeffery Dickerson officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery at North Hollywood, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Envelopes are available at MacDonald's Funeral Home.
