Funeral rites were held Friday afternoon from the Burkholder Chapel in Seymour, for Orval C. Hallett, of that city, who died enroute to the Jackson County Hospital Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while at work at the Seymour plant of Arvin Industries, Inc. He had been an Arvin employee for 23 years.
Born March 6, 1917, in Ripley County, Mr. Hallett was a son of Alvin and Cecile McFatridge Hallet, of Seymour. Also surviving are the widow, the former Rachel Jewell; two daughters, four brothers, Robert, and Walter Hallett, and three sisters, Mrs. Nona Jaynes,
Mrs. Herschel Spurgeon and Miss Mildred Hallett, all living in Seymour, and Louis Hallett, of Denver, Colorado. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery,
