"Angeline was most likely born in 1853, although her headstone shows her birth year as 1854.

"Her father, Ennis Dodd, died in April, before she was born. Her mother, Jemima, next married Isaac W. Stevenson (Stephenson) in 1864.

"Angeline Blanton was an Heir in her grandmother's 1883 Probate, which identified three generations and their relationships. [IN Hendricks Co, Probate Book, Vol 11, pp. 130, 166, 181, and 465.]

"May she Rest in Peace.

Angeline was named after her grandmother, Nancy. Her mother, Jemima, listed Angeline in the 1860 census by Nancy A.

[Thank you to Donna Dodd Black, 2014 Mar 17]

Caution: Christopher Blanton, a cousin, md Nancy Logsdon, 1872 KY Jackson Co, Mar 18, and this Nancy's name has been mixed-up with Angeline's (Nancy Angelina).
