Paul E. Coakley, 85, Regency Court, Campbellsville, son of the late Virgil D. Coakley and Lillie Gupton Coakley, was born in Green County, April 11, 1908, and died at 2:47 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 1993, in Campbellsville due to an illness. He was a member of the Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Coca-Cola in Campbellsville. He was married to Elizabeth Money Dec. 25, 1936, who survives. Besides his wife, Coakley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Betsy Coakley of Frankfort; two step-granddaughters, Wendy Wells and Holly Wells, both of Frankfort; and two sisters, Ermine Henderson and Elsie Russell, both of Campbellsville. Funeral was at 3 p.m., Thursday, June 10 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Revs. Matthew Janes and William C. Reed Jr. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Earl Fisher, Bobby Fisher, David McMahan, Mike Price, Clarence Cox, Mitchell Wright, Harold Curry, and Glenn Atwell.
