OBITUARY: Phillip L. Short, 47, of Owego, died Thursday, March 11, 1993. He was born August 25, 1945, the son of the late Uriah and Viola (Tennant) Short. He is survived by four brothers, Melvin Short of North Wales, PA, Duane Short of Barton, Oliver Short of Chemung, and Dale Short of Hayward, CA; two sisters, Yvonne Pollard of Owego and Mavis McDuffee of Waverly; also several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, Owego. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at a later time in the Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin.
