Aug 24, 1935 - Sept 12, 2012 HARRAH Dora Lee Kusek, age 77, of Harrah, OK, was born August 24, 1935, in Las Vegas, NV. She was the daughter of Charles O. and Virginia L. (Klotz) Benedix. She left this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, in McKinney, Texas. Dora Lee was the Adult Education Coordinator at the Eastern Oklahoma County Vo-Tech in Choctaw when it first opened. She was one of the original Catholic Daughters and a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Her hobbies included drawing, painting, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 50 years, Bud Kusek. Survivors include her son, Tim Kusek, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Holly & Jeff Nicklas, McKinney, TX; brother, Rick Benedix, Harrah, OK; two sisters: Janet Martin, Harrah, OK; and Charlotte Nickel, Harrah, OK; four granddaughters, Annie, Jill, Carly and Paige Nicklas; and many other relatives and friends. A Rosary and Wake service will be held 6:45 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012, at the St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
