Charlotte L. Nickel passed from this life Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Charlotte was born March 26, 1933 to Charles and Virginia (Klotz) Benedix in Henryetta, Ok. Charlotte's early years were spent following her parents, as her father worked on prestigious projects such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Hoover Dam. The family settled in Harrah where Charlotte attended school, graduating from Harrah High School in 1951. She married Paul Joseph Nickel August 13, 1955, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church of Harrah. Charlotte was a clerk at the O.G.&E. Horseshoe Plant.
Charlotte was a devoted member of the St. Teresa's Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dora Kusek.
The Rosary was recited Friday, May 13, 2022, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church of Harrah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Father Deva Undralla officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Services of Harrah.
