Mrs. May Scaife Yarger, 52, wife of Charles I. Yarger, Canandaigua RD5, died yesterday of a heart ailment in the home of a niece, Mrs. Donald Ross, Canandaigua, RD3.
Born in Phillipsburg, Pa., July 9, 1896, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Scaife. Besides her husband, survivors are four daughters, Mrs. George Barkley, Mrs. Oscar E. Lindner and Mrs. Raymond Smith, Canandaigua, and Mrs. Alden Marvin, Arkport; a stepson, George T. Kay, Canandaigua; four sons, Charles L., Donald I., Abram L., and Paul C. Yarger, all of Canandaigua; two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Frederick Sawtelle, Mrs. Herbert Clark, William, Richard and Samuel Scaife, all of Phillipsburg, Pa., and John Scaife, Niagara Falls; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Kennedy Funeral Chapel, Bristol Street, Saturday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Lloyd V. Moffett, Methodist mininster, officiating.
Friends may call at the chapel today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Internment will be in Pine Bank Cemetery.
