GRANVILLE CORNETT

Granville C. Cornett of Fort Myers, Fla., and a former resident of Blackey, Ky., died on Tuesday, July 10, 1956, following a short illness. He was the son of the late Ance and Susan Cornett and was born on Sept 23, 1899 being 56 years, 7 months and 17 days of age at his death. He had made his home in Florida for the past seven years. He is survived by the following brothers and one sister: Mrs. Leslie Hogg, Arch Cornett, Lilly Cornett, F. C. Cornett, McKinley Cornett and Blaine Cornett all of Blackey, Ky. The remains were brought back to Letcher County for burial. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Leslie Hogg, Blackey, Ky., on Saturday, July 14th at 1:00 p.m., C.S.T. with ministers Merlin Cornett, T. D. Back, Basil Hall and Jack Brown officiating. Burial in the family cemetery, Blackey. Craft Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
