Noah A. McCalip
Noah A. McCalip, 48, died Tuesday afternoon at his home, 228 West Moser Street, following an extended illness.
Mr. McCalip had lived in and near Norman all of his life.
Funeral rites were conducted this afternoon at the Pentecostal Holiness church, 319 North Findlay Avenue, by Re. W. R. Lindsay, pastor. Jansing-Primrose funeral home was in charge of the services. Burial was at the Fairview cemetery, east of Noble.
Survivors include his wife, of the home address; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. McCalip, Norman, and three sons, Charlie McCalip, Sand Springs, OKla and Walton Leo McCalip and Albert Andrew McCalip of the home address; four daughters, Mrs. Lorene Groseclose, Anadarko; Mrs. Loretta Morgan, Sand Springs, Daisy Irene McCalip and Francis Earlene McCalip, both of the home address; six brothers, W.T. McCalip, Norman, C.E. McCalip, Roola, Kan; B.F. McCalip, Pampa, Texas; B.L. McCalip, California; E.C. McCalip, Anadarko; O.O. McCalip, Shamrock, Texas, and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Goodwin, Anadarko, Mrs. C.C. Schneringer, Noble and Mrs. S.P. Morgan, Anadarko.
Mr. McCalip was a World War Veteran and saw service overseas.
