Richfield, Utah - Our sweet, beloved mother, Myrle Lillian Syddall Frye, age 93, passed away September 10, 2012 at her home in Richfield, with loved ones near.

She was born January 12, 1919 in Richfield, the sixth of eight children born to William and Blanche Vilate Roberts Syddall. She married Joe Haden Frye, December 12, 1936 in Richfield, Utah. They raised four sons and three daughters. Joe died July 23, 1988. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Myrle dedicated her life to her family, friends and her church. She worked at Manning Care Center in Richfield for 10 years and then worked for 25 years in home care service. She was active in the Richfield Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Myrle was always on the go, helping, visiting and keeping friends and family close. She enjoyed baking, bottling, embroidering pillow cases and quilt tops. She started working in the Primary at the age of 14 and continuing on in Young Womens, Relief Society and Cub Scouts for 45 years. She was also a Temple Worker for 10 years in the Manti Temple.

Myrle is survived by her children: Rita and Allen Willardson of Gunnison; Ted and Jenny Frye of Kearns; Ronnie and Toni Frye of West Valley City; Val and Melree Frye of Salt Lake City; Shon and Brenda Frye of Sigurd; Judy F. Stewart of Richfield; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, MaeLoye and her husband, John Lowney; and a grandson Brad Lowney.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to their friends at the Richfield Care Center and the hospice team. Also, to the many friends and neighbors, for their loving care, concerns and friendship.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
