She was born in Parkersburg on Dec. 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene Smith Ball. She grew up in south Parkersburg, and served in healthcare for over 35 years, beginning at Green Lawn Convalescent Home in Vienna, W.Va. in the 1960s and retired from Worthington Manor. She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D. Anderson; and two sisters, Shirley Blosser and Nancy Ross.
