Nancy L. Ross, 54, of Parkersburg passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2008, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born Oct. 14, 1954, in Parkersburg, the fourth daughter of the late William Raymond and Irene L. Ball.

She was a devoted wife, a loyal sister and a proud aunt. She loved her family, her friends and her animals. She enjoyed her home, her garden, her computer and making homemade gifts. The family will treasure the memories of Christmas and cookouts that Nancy had a way of making so special.

She was a 1973 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and retired from Ralph's Market in 2007.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronald "Chuck" Ross of Parkersburg; three sisters, Barbara Anderson of Vienna, Linda Daugherty and husband, Dudley, of Mineral Wells and Tina Westfall and husband, Andy, of Davisville; 12 nieces and nephews, including Kari Anderson and Tammy Wilson, to whom she was especially close; and two beloved dogs, Bubba and Tinker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Blosser.

Honoring Nancy's wishes there will be no service or visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
