Funeral services for Mr. Huey Pierce Long Allen of Fairfield, Texas were held on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Round Prairie Baptist Church.

Rev. Ed Ridge officiated and interment was at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Allen was born on January 28, 1929, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007, in Fairfield, Texas. He was 78 years old.

Mr. Allen is survived by his son Huey P. Allen, Jr. and wife Jamie of Washington, DC, his daughters Nadine McCarter of West Monroe, Louisiana, Loretta Baggett of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Karen Brossett of Hebert, Louisiana. He
is survived by his step-children Wallace Neal Moore and wife Wanda of Fairfield, Texas, Everett Norman Moore and wife Linda of Humble, Texas and Johnnye Cynthia
Stanton and husband Charles of Fairfield, Texas.

His grandchildren Heather Allen-West of Monroe, Louisiana, Melissa Allen of Washington, DC, Chris Baggett and wife Terri of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Melanie Factor and husband Ray of North Carolina, Pamela Cole of Baton Rouge,
Louisiana, Ashley Brossett of Hebert, Louisiana, Melinda Brossett of Iowa, and Matt Brossett of Iowa, his great grandchildren Conner Allen of West Monroe, Louisiana, Kayliana, Tatiana, Alicia and Samantha Factor of North Carolina, Trent and Mia Baggett of Colorado Springs, Colorado also survive Mr. Allen.

He is survived by his step-grandchildren Gary Daniel Moore and wife Gwen, Steven Neal Moore and wife Tammy of Fairfield, Texas, Charles W. Stanton, Jr. and wife Susannah of Little Elm, Texas, William C. Stanton of Waco, Texas,
Callie Vail and husband Chad of Chandler of Texas, Brian P. Moore and wife Penelope and Kevin Moore of Humble, Texas, 12 step-great-grandchildren, his brother B.W. Allen, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona and his sisters Marteal hart of Calhoun, Louisiana, Katie Blakeney, Pat Hare and Charlotte Weems, all of West Monroe, Louisiana.

Pallbearers for Mr. Gary Daniel Moore, Steven Neal Moore, Charles W. Stanton, Jr., William C. Stanton, Brian P. Moore and Kevin Moore.

Honorary pallbearers were Chad Vail and Danny Hagen.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
