Addie May was the daughter of James P. and Margarette Watson Laymon. She married Isaac C. Cuppy on May 5, 1906. They had 6 children: Vena Faye, Orlie, Rutha, Albert E., and Mary. Mary Laymon Kelly was the only child alive at Addie May's death.

Orlie and Rutha died as infants and are buried in the Iola Township Cemetery along with her son Albert.

DEATHS and FUNERALS
Mrs. Isaac C. Cuppy
Addie May Cuppy, 83, rural Colony, died this morning at the Allen County Hospital. Mrs. Cuppy had entered the hospital 5 of last year.
She was born in Jewell County, Kansas, on June 16, 1886, and came to Iola with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Laymon, at an early age.
She had lived in this area since that time. She was married to Isaac C. Cuppy on May 5, 1906, in Iola. He died June 5, of last year.
Mrs. Cuppy was a member of the Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Mary) Kelley, Colony; a foster-daughter, Mrs. Pauline Stoval, Lawrence; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Nitcher and the Rev. I. N. Neuenswander will officiate. Burial will be in the Iola Township Cemetery.

Iola Township Cemetery is also known as Piqua Cemetery.
