Mrs. Alta Lemaster Blanton, 84, died Wednesday, May 4, at her Leander residence.

Mrs. Blanton was born January 12, 1893, in Johnson County, the daughter of W. H. and Martha Jane Trimble Lemaster and was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Callie Blanton, whom she married in 1913; three sons, Estill of Warsaw, IN, Charlie of Marion, OH and Bill of Bonanza; five daughters, Sola Tackett of Riceville, Lola Picklesimer of Waldo, OH, Ethel
Adams of Prospect, OH, Bethel Ratliff of Leesburg, IN, and Evelyn Click of Leander; two brothers, Rev. Charlie Lemaster of Collista and Tommy Lemaster of Windon, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hannah of South Solon, OH and Mrs.
Cloie Brown of Ada, OH; 33 grandchildren and 98 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 7, in the Long Fork Untied Baptist Church at Riceville with Elders Buell Ferguson and James H. Blair officiating.

Burial was in the Bayes Cemetery at Leander with Paintsville Funeral Home
handling arrangements.
