Bonnie Lee Hills Brady was born August 20, 1926 in Carter, Oklahoma to Carrie Ann and Charlie Aby Easter. She passed away November 18, 2000 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 28 days.
Bonnie attended school at Highway before moving to Strong City where she attended school and took care of the superintendent's children. On November 26, 1942 she married Hugh Winston Harris. They continued to live south of Strong City where they farmed. She married W.E. "Bud" Hills on July 20, 1957 in Raton, New Mexico. They lived in Cheyenne where they owned and operated the Hills Cafe. In 1961 they built the Hills Motel. Bud passed away on June 3, 1970 and Bonnie continued to operate the motel until 1984 when she sold the motel. She continued to work at the motel until her death. She was married to Warren D. "Pat" Brady at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on January 29, 1972.
She was a member of the Cheyenne First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Hugh Wesley Harris; two brothers; one sister; and a special friend, Spec Lester.
Survivors include one daughter, Frances Dearing and husband Jim of Yukon, Oklahoma; one son, Phillip Hills and wife Debra of Seling, Oklahoma; three sisters, Bridie Jewel Dodd of Denver, Colorado, and Charlie Josephine Lindsey, and Syble Lovine Namba, both of Elk City, Oklahoma; six brothers, Grover Arlin Easter of Gordonville, Texas, Clinton Orville Easter of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, Thomas Elvern Easter of Sayre, Oklahoma, Lee Ray Easter of Watonga, Oklahoma and Charles Delbert Easter and Even Joe Easter, both of Elk City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Kallen Wesley Nichols of Lemoore, California, Quintin Dale Nichols and Terry Brett Nichols, both of Canyon Lake, Texas, Shawn Elvert Harris of Holton, kansas, Lynda LuAnn Hills of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Penny Lee Hills of Seiling, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Hills of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brooklynn, Baylee and Karlee Nichols, all of Canyon Lake, Texas, Shayla Nichols of Lemoore, California, Jasmine Hills of Seiling, Oklahoma and Chase and Thaddeus Harris of Holton, Kansas; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial may be given to the First Baptist Church or the Cheyenne School Educational Foundation.
Services were held November 21, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated byv A.L. Martin and Terrell Romberg. Burial was at Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
