Gloria J. Benedict, age 63, of 7136 Tannery Road, Two Rivers, WI died Monday afternoon, January 30, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis, WI. Gloria was born May 12, 1948 in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late George and Marie (Long) Miller.
On August 20, 1975 she married Robert W. Benedict in Menominee, MI.
Gloria enjoyed working on crafts with her husband, shopping, spending time with her cats Alley and Lacey and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Benny" Benedict, Two Rivers;
two sons and one daughter-in-law: Bradley J. (Kimberly) Benedict, Oshkosh, WI; Christopher G. "Hollywood" (girlfriend Tracey Narten) Benedict, Manitowoc, WI;
five grandchildren: Ryan and Tyler Mueller, Oshkosh, WI; Kayla Kiefer-Benedict, Manitowoc, WI; Kaylynn and Nina Benedict, Neenah, WI; one great granddaughter: London;
brothers and sisters: Donald (Sharon) Miller, Marinette, WI; Elroy (Lynn) Miller, Porterfield, WI; Sharon Saunier, Marinette, WI; and Dale (girlfriend Sharon) Miller, Marinette.
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Marie Miller; one son, Chad Benedict; two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Miller; and one sister, Patricia Anderson.
A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Randy Lassila. Entombment of Gloria's cremated remains will be at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, 1420 22nd Street, Two Rivers from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
