Aaron P. Yager age 94, passed away September 5, 2012 at Rush Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 31, 1917 in Ripley County, IN the son of the late Fred and Bertha Kirch Yager. He married his wife Dorothy June 6, 1970 and she passed away Nov 20, 1990.

Following his retirement from General Motors in Indianapolis, they relocated and spent many happy years in Florida. He was an avid fisherman and former member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Fort Myers, Fl. He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, IN.

Left to cherish his memory include three sisters Alice Nobbe of Franklin County, IN, Alberta Neuman of Rushville, IN, Esther (spouse Maurice) Nieman of Decatur County, IN; three brothers Henry Yager of Decatur County, IN, Alford (spouse Eleanor) Yeager & Frances (spouse Kathleen) Yager all of Rush County. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Raymond.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Thursday September 6th, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday September 5th at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory. The rosary will be recited at 3:45PM and all are welcome to attend.

Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis. Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
