Jacob Doggett Weaver was son of William J Weaver and Lydia (Poe)- He was born in Morgantown, Monongalia Co., (W)VA Jacob served in the Civil War - he was wounded three times in the battles of Gettysburg and Bull Run. He married Mary E Plum on Dec 18, 1861 - They were the parents of ten children listed under her memorial - after Mary's death Jacob married Minnie (Moon) widow of Albert Fortney on Sept. 6, 1912 - They did not have any children. - Jacob died at his home in Maxihalia, OH - his body was brought back to WV for burial arriving on train No 12, October 29th 1925 - burial was at the Camp Ground Cemetery, Tunnelton, Preston CO., WV
