OBITUARY - BULLOCK
GERALD ALVIN BULLOCK, beloved husband of Sylvia Bullock, passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, June 1, 1996 at the age of 61 years.
Besides his loving wife, Gerald is survived by his 4 children: Sandra (Ronald) MacDonald, Kathy (Bruce) Hill, David (Marina) Bullock and Michelle (Bill) Wilson; and nine grandchildren; as well as his brother, Dennis (Carol) Bullock; and sister, Joan(Donald)Ralph.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Augusta Bullock; and his son, Richard.
Gerald grew up in Welling, the oldest of three children. He went to school in Welling and graduated from high school in Magrath. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for two and a half years in France. Upon returning, he married his high school sweetheart, Sylvia Jensen for Magrath in Idaho Falls Temple in 1957. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. and later graduated from the University of Washington in 1963, receiving his Dental Degree (B.A., D.D.S.). Gerald returned to Lethbridge and has practiced dentistry for 32 years with both Brother, Dennis and later son, David. He was respected by his peers in the field and was an excellent dentist.
Gerald showed exemplary church service throughout his entire life, serving in both Ward and Stake callings. Foremost in his life was his deep love for the Savior and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He loved his family, nature and friends, and knew how to savor joy from each moment.
Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lethbridge East Stake Chapel on Tuesday, June 4, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop George Bissett officiating. Interment in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond, Alberta.
