The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Youngblood, 76, of Pineville passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his residence.
He was a member of Lakeside Pentecostal Church and during his working career he was commercial fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George "Dewey" Youngblood and Rev. Ora Thompson; sister, Dolly Ruth Tate.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, George D. Youngblood and wife, Becky, John D. Youngblood and wife, Leisha, Archie Youngblood and wife, Marie, Darrell Laprairie, like a son and best friend he ever had; daughter, Jeri Gail Bordelon and husband, Shannon; sisters, Joyce Mahoney, Doris Spikes, Minnie Cross, June Lawson, Diane Chandler, Linda Sue Ivy; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
