Funeral services for Mrs. Dolly Ruth Tate will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 at Lakeside Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Gary Wiley and James Alton Paul officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Tate, 72, of Pineville, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 at her residence.

Mrs. Tate was a caregiver in the health care industry and a member of Lakeside Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Naomi Ruth; and her parents, George Dewey Youngblood and the Rev. Ora Cripps Youngblood.

Survivors include her husband, John W. Tate; a daughter, Shelia Dianne Tate; brother, David Youngblood; sisters, Joyce Paul Mahoney, Doris Spikes, Minnie Cross, Diane Chandler, June Lawson, and Linda Sue Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dowell Tate, David Youngblood, Lynn Spikes, J. C. Chandler, Nerry Lawson and Jeffri Spikes.

Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
