Cheshire - Ervin W. Johnston, 79, a lifelong resident of the area, died in Thompson Hospital yesterday.
Mr. Johnston was a retired mill-right for the former Lisk Company of Gorham Street. He was a member of the Woodman World Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Yaw Johnston; four sons, Eugene, Lester, and Stuart, all of Cheshire, and Leo of Canandaigua; Three daughters, Mrs. Emil (Elizabeth) Malanczuk of Jackson Heights, Mrs. Raymond (Eunice) Haskins of Shortsville, and Mrs. Gordon (Edna) Dobbs of Canandaigua; two sisters, Mrs. Bella O'Neil and Mrs. Nettie Hendershot, both of canandaigua; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and an aunt.
Friends may call at the Kennedy and Son funeral Home, Canandaigua, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a funersl service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Pine Bank Cemetery, Cheshire.
