Edward W. Heinrich, age 91, of 2304 Prospect St., New Holstein, died
Thursday afternoon, June 30, 1994, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 1994, at
St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein. Rev. Raymond C. Coombs
will officiate with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Reedsville.
He was born July 24, 1902, in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County,
son of the late Christ and Emma Woitass Heinrich. He attended school in
Maple Grove. On June 21, 1934, he married Pearl Bartel at the Evangelical
Church, Reedsville. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
in 1984. He was a mason contractor for 22 years until 1942 when the couple
moved to New Holstein. He was employed at Hart-Carter in New Holstein
from 1942-1954. He retired from Kestell Furniture, New Holstein in 1975.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl, New Holstein; one son, Newlin (Kathleen),
New Holstein; two sisters, Anna Koenig, Oconto Falls, Linda Brandes, Chilton.
He is further survived by one sister-in-law, Lucy Heinrich, Brillion. He
was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 5-8 p.m. Saturday,
July 2, 1994, and at the church on Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. until the time
of service.
