Elmer J. Heinrich, 80, of R. 2, Brillion, died Thursday, July 14, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a brief illness.

He was born May 18, 1897, at Maple Grove, a son of Christian and Emma Woitas Heinrich. On Sept. 10, 1938 he married the former Lucy Schley at Stockbridge. He did masonry work and farmed in the town of Holland until retiring in 1967, when he moved to R. 2, Brillion.
Mr. Heinrich was a veteran of World War I and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Mildred) Hammond, Porterfield, Wis., and Mrs. Francis (Mary) Casper, R. 1, Malone; three sons, Jerome, R. 1, Brillion, Marvin, R. 1, Chilton, and Paul, R.2, Greenleaf; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Koenig, Gillett, Mrs. Emma Siebert, Wayside, and Mrs. Linda Brandes, R. 1, Chilton, and a brother, Edward, New Holstein.

Two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s. The Rev. Raymond Dowling, pastor, was celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
