Norma Jean "Peggy" Yohe, 67, Holly Springs, N.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, after a two-year fight with ovarian cancer. She was born March 11, 1940, in Timblin, the 11th child born to Osmer and Twila Mae Brocious.
In 1965, Ms. Yohe moved to Alexandria, Va., where she spent the majority of her life before retiring from Fairfax County Public Schools in 2002.
She was truly loved by all of her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Teri Yohe Morgan and husband Paul, Gretchen Dixon and husband David, and Nikki Heron and husband Doug; six grandchildren, Chelsea and Sydney Morgan, Christopher and Cameron Lampley, Alyssa and Jack Heron; two brothers, Eugene and Donald Brocious; five sisters, Alda Schick, Dorothy Manley, Ruby Smith, Margie Wolfgang and Lois Stello; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington St., Alexandria, before traveling to Pennsylvania for a private family ceremony.
