Amelia was the daughter of James William Miles 1836-1900 and his 2nd wife Lucinda Hopper 1863-1922.

Ray, devoted mother of Agusta Shelby, Edna Ballinger, Martha Rogers, Edith Ballinger, Dorothy Stamper, Carrie Hoskins, Lois James, Muriel Wilson, Drucilla Altsman, Alonzo and James O. Ray, also 44 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; residence, RR #2, Loveland, Ohio, in her 86th year. Visitation, Craver Funeral Home, Milford, Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. Services and interment Hopper Funeral Home, Barbourville, Ky., Monday, July 19, 1965.
