He was born Jan. 3, 1907, in Lyonsdale, a son of Michael and Sarah Tuffy Beck. He had been a woodsman.
He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Fred Anderson, Croghan, and Mrs. Alfred Rocker and Mrs.
Wesley Scouten, both of Port Leyden; five brothers, Walter Beck, Port Leyden; Harry and Donald Beck, both of Lyons Falls; Martin Beck, Lyonsdale, and Gordon Beck, Ogdensburg.
