He was born in Germany. He married Sarah Tuffy of Highmarket in 1901. She died many years ago.
For many years he was employed by Gould Paper company and by Moyer & Pratt in its Lyonsdale plant.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Fred Anderson, Trenton Falls, Mrs. Alfred Rocker and Mrs. Wesley Scouten, both of Port Leyden; six sons, Robert, Gordon, Donald, Martin and Harry, all of Lyons Falls and Walter, Boonville and a sister, Catherine Beck in Germany.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 this morning in the Rocker home and at 9:30 in St. Martin's church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring. Utica Daily Press, Monday, January 29, 1945
