A daughter of Stephen and Mary Gordon Crayne, she was born August 11, 1893, in Morgan township and had resided all her life in Greene County.
Miss Crayne graduated from the Waynesburg College School of Music in 1917 and taught piano in the Jefferson and Waynesburg areas for 56 years prior to her retirement in 1973. She was a member of the Coallick United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Allison (Louis) Phillips of Waynesburg; a niece, Mrs. William (Ellen) Garrison of Waynesburg, and a nephew, Herbert C. Davis of Huntington Beach. Calif.
A brother, D. W. Crayne, is deceased.
