Lucille Arnold Barker, 89, of Pearl, MS died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Ridgeland, MS. Mrs. Barker was a native of Covington County, MS and a resident of the Jackson area since 1952. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and worked as a cashier for McCarty Holman.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Barker; a daughter, Theresa White Gerrard and a son, Albert Wayne Arnold.
She is survived by a son, Charles "Sonny" Arnold and his wife Donna of Crystal Springs, MS; three daughters and their husbands, Betty Coleman and Max of Hernando, MS, Charlotte Hunter and Harold and Kathy Halford and Roy all of Pearl, MS; Step children and their spouses, James Lee Barker and Susie, Janie Mitchell and Vernell, Sarah Blalock and George. She was very blessed to have many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, 350 High Street, Jackson, MS with the visitation today from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until service hour on Tuesday. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
