Arnold A. Ziarnik, age 75, of 1518 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning,
November 14, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 1994, at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial
will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial to follow in the Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born October 14, 1919, in Manitowoc, son of the late Alex and Mary
Revolinski Ziarnik. He graduated with the class of 1937 from Lincoln High School
and then served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married the
former Dorothy G. Mahnke on June 14, 1947, in Manitowoc. Mr. Ziarnik had been
employed by J.C. Penney Company for many years. He was a member of Manitowoc
Eagles Aerie #706.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy G. Ziarnik, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-
in-law, Susan and Mark Robertson, DePere; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott
and Jane Ziarnik, Manitowoc, Thomas and Mary Ziarnik, Thiensville, Wis.; four
grandchildren, Blake and Meghan Robertson, Christopher and Abby Ziarnik; one
sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Edward Sleger, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a son,
Michael, and two brothers, Raymond and Erwin.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. this Tuesday (TODAY)
and at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
