Mr. Erwin R. Ziarnik, 74, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday night, June 7, at North Ridge Care Center of Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Ziarnik was born December 22, 1910, in Manitowoc, son of the late Alex and Mary Revolinsky Ziarnik. Mr. Ziarnik had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Company of Manitowoc, retiring in 1976. He married the former Celia Rysticken on June 25, 1938, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1978.
Survivors include a son, Allen Ziarnik of Houston, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kay Ziarnik of Austin, Texas, Mary and James Gresham of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Lynn and Richard Lodl of Port Washington, Wisconsin; a brother, Arnold Ziarnik of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Sally) Sleger of Manitowoc and three grandchildren, Angela, Lisa and Greg. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Ziarnik.
There will be no Sunday evening visitation at the funeral home. Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc is in charge of funeral arrangements.
