ALEX ZIARNIK

Alex A. Ziarnik, 63, of 1912 Marshall street, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital.
He was in a room occupied by his son, Erwin, a patient at the hospital, when he was stricken.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate with burial in St. Mary cemetery.

Mr. Ziarnik was born in 1886 and always lived in Manitowoc. For the past seven years he had been janitor of St. Mary church and school. In 1908 he married Marie Revolinsky.

She survives with three sons, Erwin, Raymond, and Arnold of Manitowoc; daughter, Miss Sally at home; three brothers, Paul, Theodore and Emil of Manitowoc; six sisters, Mrs. Harned Day, Mrs. Henry Janquart and Mrs. Theo Komosa of Manitowoc, Mrs. Alex Blazei of Green Bay, Mrs. Hugo LaFond of Two Rivers and Mrs. Richard Kusthel of Milwaukee.

Mr. Ziarnik was a member of the St. Stanislaus and Holy Name societies and secretary of the St. Mary Cemetery association.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Tuesday until time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
