Mrs. Charles E. White, former Manitowoc resident, died suddenly in Santa Cruz,
Calif., while visiting her sister, Mrs. Hugo Richter of this city, who is
spending the winter in California. She was 65.
Mrs. White, nee Emma Fechter, was born in this city. She was married to Dr.
C. E. White, youngest son of Charles White, pioneer Manitowoc attorney in 1899.
In 1903 Dr. and Mrs. White moved to Seattle, where they made their home. Dr.
White died three years ago.
Survivors are a son, Wesley S. White, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Hugo
Richter and Miss Lucy Fechter, both of Manitowoc.
Funeral services were held today at Santa Cruz, Calif.
