E.C. Taite Claims Bride
Herald Employee Weds Miss Lillian Schultz in Early Ceremony
If a bright wedding morning is a promise of a life of happiness, then the future
holds much for Ernest Clarke Taite and Miss Lillian Bertha Schultz, well known
young people, whose marriage was celebrated at St. James Church at 6 o'clock this
morning. Rev. Fr. Oliphant, rector of the church, officiated at the ceremony. A
nuptial Eucharist was celebrated in the presence of a small gathering of relatives
of the couple. Miss Adeline Pickard and William D. Nelson were attendants. After
the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clemens
where a wedding breakfast was served and Mr. Taite and bride departed at 8 for
Chicago and a trip south.
Mr. Taite and his bride are both well known young people whose friends are legion.
Miss Schultz is a daughter of Ferd Schultz and a young lady possessed of charms of
mind and person which have attracted to her a host of admiring, sincere friends.
She attended the local schools and later for some time past, has held a position
in the offices of the O. Torrison Co. Mr. Taite, a son of R.A. Taite, is an employee
of the Herald Press Publishing Co, as a linotype operator, who possesses the
qualifications to advance in his profession. Mr. Taite came here with his parents
some years ago and has won a large circle of friends, who will tender congratulations
to the young couple.
Mr. and Mrs. Taite will spend several days on a honeymoon trip and will return here
next week to take up their residence and for the present will make their home with Mr.
Taite's parents. The Herald joins with a host of friends in bespeaking for the couple
a bright and happy future.
