ROBERT C. RABENHORST (d. 1970)

Robert C. Rabenhorst, 47, of 3415 Dale St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, with military
graveside services by the American Legion.
Mr. Rabenhorst was born March 7, 1923 at Manitowoc, son of Henry W. Rabenhorst
and the late Clara Karnopp Rabenhorst. He married Bernice M. Jansen Sept. 27,
1946 at Manitowoc. He was captain of the Manitowoc Fire Dept. until illness
forced him to retire in 1968. He was a veteran who served in the Air Corps in
World War II, serving overseas and in the South Pacific area.
Survivors include his wife, his father, Henry W. Rabenhorst of Manitowoc; a son,
Charles in the United States Navy at Great Lakes, Ill.; a daughter, Nancy at
home; and a brother, Paul H. of Madison.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Fuenral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 pm Friday until
11:30 am Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church until the time
of service.

Funeral services for Robert C. Rabenhorst, 47, Manitowoc, who died Wednesday,
were held Saturday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church I Manitowoc. Mr. Rabenhorst
was captain of the Manitowoc Fire Dept. until retiring in 1968 because of
illness. He was an overseas veteran of the Air Corps in World War II. Surviving
in Madison is a brother, Paul W., 335 Midvale Blvd., a biology teacher at
LaFollette Senior School. Also survivig are his wife, Bernice; a son, Charles
in the Navy at Great Lakes, Ill.; a daughter, Nancy at home and his father,
Henry W., Manitowoc. The Pfeffer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
