Donald R. Pemberton, 82, of 948 N. 5th Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, August 6, 1986 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Bruce W. Hanstedt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pemberton was born April 10, 1904 at Brothertown, Wisconsin, son of the late Joseph and Catherine Baker Pemberton. He grew up and was educated in the Brothertown area and moved to Manitowoc as a young man, living here since. He married Margaret G. Danielson in April, 1927 at Manitowoc. Mr. Pemberton was employed as an auto mechanic at Yanda Motors for many years, retiring in 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Helen Pemberton of Wichita, Kansas, and Joseph and Judy Pemberton of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Roger, Susan, Jennifer and Amy; two great grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Fisher of California. Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei 9th Street Chapel, Manitowoc, from 12 noon on Saturday to the time of services.
