Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church on Friday for Miss Christine Pemberton, R.N. who died at the local hospital Tuesday morning after an illness on one year. The Rev. Leslie Simon of Gillett officiated at the rites and burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Miss Pemberton was born on July 11, 1888 in Calumet County and had been a resident of Oconto Falls for the past forty years.

Miss Pemberton is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Wm. E. Goddard, Oconto Falls, Mrs. Steven Lutz, Milwaukee and Mrs. Ralph Fischer of Twenty-nine Palms, California; two brothers, Perry and Donald both of Manitowoc and Mrs. Adolph Kiefer, Chilton, an aunt. A brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
