Mrs. Katherine Sullivan
Passed Away at Her Home in Wenona Saturday.
The death of Mrs. Katherine Sullivan occurred at her home in this city at 4:30 o'clock last Saturday morning. Her health had been failing for some time, due to infirmities of old age.
Mrs. Sullivan's maiden name was Katherine Cain. She was born in Ireland and was 89 years of age.
Over sixty years ago she came to this country and Wenona had been her home for a long time.
She is survived by
three children--
Mrs. J. Dunne, of Magnolia,
and Mrs. C. J. Murray,
and Connie Sullivan, of Wenona;
also
one brother, James Cain, of Champaign;
several grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sullivan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church; a consistent Christian, excellent wife and mother, and good neighbor. Because of advanced years she had remained close to home and her acquaintances were limited in number.
The funeral was held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, Rev. D. O'Dwyer officiating. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery.

John Cain and daughter, Miss Agnes, Patrick Cain and Jerry Cain, of Gifford;

Ed Prendergast and sons Thomas and Derwood,
and Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Prendergast, of Garfield.
